Some of you may know that I also sell Usborne Books. I have done this for a little over two years now, and I love the books so much it isn’t really like working. I have amassed a collection of four crates of books, that’s not including the ones my children have obtained through various methods along the way.
Today the postman brought me confirmation of a new booking. I found a lovely Christmas Fair on one of my many trawls through google, and decided to get in touch, fully expecting to have already been pipped to the post as tends to happen with Usborne. However I am now booked in, and it appears that it is not the small event I first thought. Last year they had around 1000 visitors, so even with a small percentage of those buying from me I don’t think I have enough stock!
That hasn’t curbed my excitement however, and I hope the day will be a good one. They certainly have a lot of events planned, hog roast, Santa’s Grotto, birds of prey as well as all the craft and gift stalls. I am sure my girls will be suitably entertained and hopefully my husband will have an easier day with them than at some events recently.
Of course I have other events going on, especially in November, I barely have a day free at the moment (although am still looking for home party bookings). It would be lovely to see you there!
