Party Sprite – Everything Party!

We are pleased to be exhibiting at the Hull Baby Fair on Saturday, and so this week we are busy preparing stock, designing our stand, and working out what freebies to bring along for all the visitors.  If you are going to be in the area please pop in, and let us know that you read it on our blog.

All the work for the baby fair doesn’t leave us much time for anything else.  We have the new designs for old favourites Thomas, Dora and Bob the Builder on order, they will be added to the site when the stock arrives.  Handy Manny party supplies are still selling well, with Hannah Montana party supplies coming in a close second last week.

We are exhibiting at the Aiskew Leeming Bar Primary School Christmas Fair tonight, with a selection of Cari’s Gift Shop goodies and our ever popular helium balloons.  I have so much stock that I have had to leave some behind, my estate car is full to bursting and there are still three boxes and the all important gas tank for my husband to bring in his car.  Luckily it is a local event for us, so it won’t be too late a night.  We are off on an Usborne Books fair tomorrow and another booking on Sunday, so a really busy weekend ahead.

I am hoping as ever to come back with less than we took, but this is getting an increasingly difficult task as my children spend all our money on lucky dips and bargains.  The last event we came home with a bin bag filled with cuddly toys, even though they already have an overflowing bedroom.  At least it keeps them occupied while I sell.

I will be promoting the balloon in a box gift, the fantastic day you were …. prints and the name meaning prints, I must admit I don’t spend much time showing these off and I should really as they are lovely gifts.  I am also in the process of updating the Gift Shop website which was probably not a good idea in our busy season, oh for an extra pair of hands!

I am really excited about tonight, it will be the first truely festive event this year and I am just like a big kid seeing all the lovely decorations and gifts available.  If you aren’t able to visit our stand on this occasion we still have plenty of fairs booked up until mid december, more details will be posted soon.

My first selling event in a long time is tomorrow.  Southlands Methodist Church Autumn Fair will be the venue, in York, and I will be showing off some of my Christmas stock.  I am not prepared for it, my stock is ready in boxes but not priced up as yet and I am struggling to keep my eyes open, so it may have to be sorted out in the morning.  I hate leaving things to the last minute, but a week of struggling with my two girls has left me shell shocked and I am crying out for a good nights sleep.

Yes, I should be in bed.  I need to be in bed.  So why am I sitting here posting on my blog?  Well, hubby is busy with the washing up, I am mooching about on t’internet, and I am still working on my law of attraction vibes.  If you haven’t heard about this, you should read up on it, it sounds fascinating and will be a book on my Christmas list that’s for sure.  I am normally sceptical about such things, but have concluded that if vibing sales in makes me appear happier and more confident then it is worth a try.

Ok enough of that, I really should make a start on some signage for tomorrow.  Maybe if I vibe enough it will get done for me?  No, didn’t think so either.  Will settle for sales instead.
